There’s some in my party who have their own versions of the status quo. You will find out pretty quickly I’m not much of a status quo person. The establishment is not real fond of me,” said Ricky Perry, Texas Governor, during a visit in Des Moine.

Perry has defined a clear-cut statement opposing economic proposal put forward by the former Massachusetts governor. He said Romney’s plan was executed in a wrong discretion analysis on preserving much of the current tax system. Perry also made mention on ethanol- a corn-based energy that has become famous in a state with a large agricultural base.

Perry also added, “Some think we can fix Washington with a pair of tweezers. I happen to think we need to take a sledgehammer to it. The federal government needs to be completely out of the energy business, picking winners and losers. This president of the United States is at war with the coal industry.”
