Gaddafi 1 11 240x300 Gadhafi’s Gunman, Still a Mystery

Muammar al-Gaddafi

Who shoot him? There are stories spreading around that Gadhafi was taken down by his own troop. According to one account, one of his own bodyguards shot him, one of whom can be seen lying dead on the ground. However, these claims are not yet found be true and needed more investigations.

Allegedly, Gadhafi was defending himself with a golden pistol, this pistol was taken by rebels and now become a sign of merit for rebels. For eight months, they struggle to keep Gadhafi from growing stronger and they once accepted that they didn’t have a slightest chance against strongman Gadhafi.

According to reports, Gadhafi was still alive when he was taken. Questions whether he would have survived his wounds, given the proper treatments and medications are unknown. Last Thursday it was confirmed that one of his sons was also taken down and another one reported seized by the NATO.

Gaddafi 1 1 240x300 Frazier: So, I Saw the Best Part of Libya

Muammar al-Gaddafi

“People are very warm there. They love foreigners. Everywhere you go they’re welcoming in Libya. They love anyone who is coming in. It shows, I think, a sign of prosperity that their country is coming up… maybe a blonde American woman represents the future to them,”

Jacqueline Frazier is originally from Vermont but her attachment to the Gadhafi family began when a mutual friend introduced her to Saadi Gadhafi, one of Gadhafi’s sons. She was hired by Saadi to be a liaison between American companies for a project he was working on.

Frazier also said, “As a Westerner, I didn’t feel the oppression or the kind of culture of paranoia that you would as a typical Libyan, So I saw the best parts of Libya. And, for the past seven months, she witnessed and treated as one of the family as the regime of Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi slowly showed.

“I know how much he cared for them, and he would know that they would be killed. I don’t know what happened. I’m sue some horrible thing happened to him yesterday to make him do this or allow him to lose focus for a moment and do it. But I don’t know what it is, and we may never know,” said Judy Hatfield, a family friend.

The Ohio man who killed himself after turning loose dozens of wild animals like Bears, lions, tigers and other exotic animals, apparently, the man was deep in debt, and a fellow big-cat lovers confirmed that he had taken in so many creatures he was “in over his head”.

Meanwhile, according to court records, it shows that he and his wife are in debt of at least $68,000 in unpaid taxes to the IRS and the country. Aside from that, two federal tax liens filed against the Ohio man last year that could trigger him to commit these unfortunate events.

“The main thing we worried about was people getting the wrong message and people panicking,” said Mark Matney, NASA, Orbital Debris Office in Houston.

According to Matney, they are now tracking UARS and is now observing ROSAT movements. ROSAT, a german satellite was launched in 1990 to observe X-rays in the sky. Scientist can no longer transfer communication with the dead German satellite. The initial estimate is that it can only active for 18 months; apparently, they underestimated ROSAT because she stayed for more than eight years in the space. NASA officials said ROSAT is most likely to be caught by the outer layers of the atmosphere sometime between Saturday and Monday. Reports said that ROSAT has large built and it is sturdy enough, that its torn out pieces are likely to survive re-entry.  According to German Aerospace Centre, the odds of its damaging effect could be one in several trillion.

Let us just hope, no one in you family will come across ROSAT and suffer being what they called as “Unlucky.”

Mouth watering cantaloupes

“You’re rolling around cantaloupe on uncleanable equipment and you’re getting it wet and you’re not cooling it – it provides the perfect environment for listeria growth and spread,” said James Gorny, Senor Food Safety Adviser, Food and Drug Administration.

FDA officials said that employee had exposure in pools of water where listeria was likely to grow rapidly. They have tracked the deadly bacteria around the packing shed, which was owned and operated by Jensen Farms, in Colorado. Apparently, pathogen was investigated and found on a conveyor belt used for transportation of cantaloupes, the melon drying area, floor drain, and among other places.

Antidepressant Pills from the bottle

“It is surprising to learn that only about one-third of those taking one antidepressant have seen as mental health professional within the past year. The numbers of those who have seen a mental health professional do appear to improve for those taking two or more antidepressants,” said Dr. Tolu Olupona, not part of the research, Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics and Psychiatry, Mount Sinai Hospital Adolescent Health Centre, New York City.

According to the research, the data of 2005-2008 from the U.S. National Health and Nutrition Examination Surveys stated that antidepressants are considered the third most common prescription drug generally used by American for all ages. One-third of individuals with severe depression take antidepressant prescription. In addition, more than 60 percent of them used the medication for two years or longer. The researchers also found out that women are 2.5 times more likely to be in antidepressants medications than men.

“Abnormal test results can lead to more frequent testing and invasive diagnostic procedures, such as colposcopy and cervical biopsy… Harms from these diagnostic procedures include vaginal bleeding, pain, infection, and failure to diagnose. There are a number of women who have never been screened, and that remains a challenge. We need to keep those women at the top of our priority list and brainstorm for interventions for better access,” said Wanda Nicholson, Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and one of the task force leaders, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Medical Centre.

The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force, an independent federal panel announced Tuesday that women ages 21 to 65, healthy, can receive a Pap smear every three years. Apparently, this federal panel, which is composed of experts in prevention and primary care, did not recommend the regular HPV screening for most women. They also added that too many Pap tests could cause more harm than good.
