FDA Unveiled New Rules for Sunscreen Products

“These changes to sunscreen labels are an important part of helping consumers have the information hey need so they can choose the right sun protection for themselves and their families,” said Dr. Janet Woodcock, Director of FDA’s drug division.
FDA now moved to help consumers confused by symbols, sun protection indicators and other claims on sunscreen protection. They have recently announced new rules for sunscreen products, dictating what consumers should be looking for, when purchasing a sunscreen protection products.
Under the new rules set up by the FDA, the manufacturers should comply with their new set of principles and regulations.
New rules of FDA are as follows:
- The FDA proposed capping the highest SPF value, preferably at 50, only if companies can furnish results of further testing that support a higher number.
- The FDA will not allow sunscreen marketing claiming “waterproof” and “sweat proof,” which FDA consider if as “exaggeration of performance”
- FDA will no longer allow a four-star system currently used by some companies to rate UVA protection.

Archbishop Timothy Dolan of New York expressed strong disapproval of legalizing same-sex marriage. He dismissed those protections as inadequate.
Dolan also said, “Lawmakers were rushing to tamper with a definition as old as human reason and ordered good.”
International Donors Pledged $4.3 Billion to GAVI

The pledges should allow GAVI or Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization to buy more vaccines needed, to prevent more than four million premature deaths among children of the poor families.
International donor Bill Gates led the funding campaign that will allow 250 million of the world’s poorest children to be a part of the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization. This campaign will protect the children against potential killer diseases such as pneumonia and diarrhea.
Founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates also said, “These are vaccines that rich kids all get, and the irony is that the rick kids are less susceptible to these diseases. But tomorrow, the success that I’m almost certain we will have will give us the money to buy them for all the world’s children.”
Obama Government Establishing an Underground Internet

US government is leading a global campaign, which involves the building of a proto-type “Internet in a suitcase.” Obama administration funded the project with a $2 million State Department allotment, the suitcase could be transported without being uncover or seen across a border and easily set up which allow wireless communication over a wide coverage with a link to the global Internet.
State Department Spokesperson Harry Edwards said, “The State Department is doing innovative, cutting-edge work in the area of Internet freedom, including funding the development of ‘Internet in a suitcase. Our approach is ‘Techies without Borders’. It is about empowering individuals to exercise their universal human rights to freedom of speech, assembly and association, online as well as in the physical world.”
Former Software Consultant, Sentenced for Storing Explosives

A former software consultant pleaded guilty, when he is sentenced for life imprisonment for stocking large amounts of powerful explosive in his suburban home. Her wife, Marina called it obsessive hoarding.
Marina also said, “George told me that unemployment makes him feel useless and worthless – a terrible feeling for a man who worked hard all his life and was successful and well liked at work.”
Harold Camping Suffers Stroke but Now Doing Very Well

“He is doing very well – not a very serious stroke at all! The hospital doesn’t allow people in. So, I can’t tell you, Alright. I have no idea when he would be released from the hospital,” says Mrs. Camping when asked about the condition of her husband, Harold Camping.
Controversial minister Harold Camping, President of the Family Radio network, who became an over-night sensation by making a public announcement about the rapture that would happen last month, has suffered a minor stroke. Harold Camping, 89 years old, was rushed to a hospital after falling ill Thursday at his Alameda, Calif., resident.
One of his neighbour said, “He had a stroke, it was on his right side. His speech appears to be a little bit slurred but otherwise he’s okay.”
The Brooklyn Boardwalk Shooting

The apparent shoot out in Brooklyn Boardwalk killed one, and wounded four. According to NYPD officials five people were shot, one of them, woman who later died. Commissioner Paul Browne update the public saying one was listed in critical condition and all the injured victims were out of danger already.
According to some witnesses, two people fired into crowds on the boardwalk from the beach. Police officials have not yet identified the motives of the killing. However, intensive investigation was going on to establish whether the victims were the intended targets or bystanders.
NYPD have not yet disclose any information on identity of both the victims and the suspects, two people were invited for questioning and investigation.
