Former Coach of the Rockets, Not Returning to Work

Serena Williams has been deemed too sexy for television.
A few days after a link to the tennis star's new 2K Sports video game commercial was Tweeted, the company received enough backlash over the spot - which features a scantily-clad Serena taking on a scantily-clad model - to announce it would not air on TV.
Banned Serena Williams Ad
"As part of the process for creating marketing campaigns to support our titles, we pursue a variety of creative avenues," 2K Sports wrote in a statement. "This video is not part of the title's final marketing campaign and its distribution was unauthorized."
But it was clearly meant to hit the airways, as Serena Tweeted last week to be on the lookout for "awesomely sexy video."
And, come on, 2K Sports, billboards of Rafael Nadal shirtless are all over Europe.
What do you think? Should the ad have been pulled?

“The key to this fight is knowing how to keep my distance on the stand-up, not to get taken down,” Nogueira says. Some mixed martial experts say they’re willing to fight their opponent in any position, expressing confidence in their words, bu this time Minotoro straightly said he will fight Phil “Mr. Wonderful” Davis with a good stance.
“Not to get taken down,” said Minotoro, he planned to tackle “Mr. Wonderful” with a very good hand-to-hand combat manoeuvre and a very good stance. Their fight this Saturday will show off their best abilities on the octagon. A fight many UFC fans looking forward to, a battle of two fine warriors ready to take of and rule the octagon.
Minotoro is pointing out on his jiu-jitsu, as his main defence against Davis. “My base is jiu-jitsu. I’ve been doing jiu-jitsu for so long now that no matter how much I train any other disciplines, whether I train stand-up or wresting, the jiu-jitsu is always my base. It’s something that sticks with me” said Minotoro.
Rafael Nadal defeated Novak Djokovic 6-4, 5-7, 6-4, 6-2 at the final of the U.S. Open, making him the youngest male to win a career Grand Slam.
Rain delayed the match for nearly two hours which had already been postponed a day due to the weather on Sunday. The Spaniard was raring to go when they finally hit the courts and after a 3 hour and 43 minute display of pure athleticism there was no doubt about his No. 1 ranking. “Right now he’s the best player in the world, and he absolutely deserves this title,” Djokovic said after the match.
Djokovic gave it everything he had and played valiantly but could only take one set from Nadal. “He’s getting better each time you play him. He’s so mentally strong and dedicated to this sport,” said Djokovic at a news conference.
Nadal has worked hard on being the best player he can be. Not only does he have the raw power that we all love to watch, but he’s improved his court positioning and added a slice backhand and flatter groundstrokes to his game.
“It’s a dream to have the career Grand Slam, but it’s more a dream to have the U.S. Open,” said Nadal in a news conference. To win a Grand Slam one needs to win the U.S. Open, French Open, Wimbledon and the Australian Open.
The match everyone has been waiting for will not happen this year as Federer has been knocked out of the tournament by rising star Djokovic.
In a grueling match that showed the brilliance of both players Federer went down to Djokovic 5-7, 6-1, 5-7, 6-2, 7-5. The match lasted 3 hours and 44 minutes and Djokovic seemed stronger with each game that was played. “One of those matches you’ll always remember in your career,” said Djokovic in an interview just after the match. He had lost to Federer in the U.S. Open the last three years in a row, losing the semis in 2008 and 2009 and the final in 2007. “I’m just so thrilled to be in the final,” he said.
Federer was a little disappointed with the loss. “It’s a tough loss for me, but it’s only going to fuel me with more motivation to practice hard and get back to the Grand Slam finals. I feel like I’m playing well, and I would have deserved to be in the finals,” he said.
Djokovic will be playing the No. 1 ranked player, Rafael Nadal, in what is sure to be an epic match on Sunday. Nadal breezed through the semi-final beating Mikhail Youzhny 6-2, 6-3, 6-4.
Novak Djokovic overcame not only his opponent but the bad weather to make it into the finals of the U.S. Open. Djokovic won 7-6 6-1 6-2 against the Frenchman Gael Monfils.
The high winds made playing difficult, let alone trying to hit winners. “These are the worst conditions at this tournament,” said Djokovic. He said he was happy to get through to the finals in straight sets.
Djokovic is the No. 3 seed and will play the winner of the other semi-final match between Roger Federer and Robin Soderling form Sweden. For the last three years in a row Djokovic has been knocked out of the tournament by Federer. He could play him for a fourth time in this year’s final if Federer can defeat the Swede.
It will be Federer’s sixth U.S. Open title if he wins his semi-final match and beats Djokivic in the finals. This would bring his total Grand Slam championship wins to an amazing 17.
Russian Vera Zvonareva reached the semi-finals for the first time in her career when she beat Kaia Kanepi 6-3 7-5. The wind was also blowing up a storm but she dealt with it much better than her opponent. “I was trying to make it as difficult as possible for her. With those conditions, unforced errors look like easy shots but with the wind going all different directions and blowing, it’s not easy. I think I made the right choices,” said Zvonareva.
She will play either Caroline Wozniacki from Denmark or Dominika Cibulkova from Slovakia in the semi-finals.
Tiger Woods has held the title for the world’s No. 1 golfer for a long time now. In fact it was only Vijay Singh who took the title away from Woods back in 2004 but Woods regained the No. 1 position at the 2005 masters and no-one has been able to take it from him ever since.
That could all change as Phil Mickelson and Steve Stricker look set to topple the giant if they continue their good form and Woods continues to struggle. Mickelson is only 0.43 points behind and Stricker is just 1.51 points behind for the number one spot.
Mickelson could overtake Woods at the end of the Deutsche Bank Championship if he wins the tournament or comes second with Woods out of the top three. Mickelson could also take top spot even if he finishes third as long as Woods is out of the top 9 for the tournament.
Stricker has a harder time making World No. 1 but it’s still possible. He would need to win the tournament with Woods out of the top 9 and Mickelson out of the top 3.
At the end of the third round Stricker is in fourth position at 13 under with Mickelson a point behind on 12 under par. Woods is down the ladder but still within striking distance. He’s currently in 23rd place at 7 under par.
22-year-old Jason Day currently leads the tournament heading into the final day.
