Facebook application for iPad is expected to be available for iPad users in the coming weeks. The application is especially made for the tablet computer’s touch-screen interface. Reports said, Facebook application has been in improvement process for more than a year and now on its final phase of testing.
Facebook Officials refuse to disclose any information to the introduction of Facebook applications for iPad. However, an insider revealed that the application has ‘slick design’, made particularly for the iPad. In addition, the company is planning to improve the Facebook Chat and Facebook Groups features.
Soon, iPad 2 users will enjoy the benefits of uploading photos from the built-in cameras. The company also lets the users, experience the amazing feature of video sharing.
Computer Technology Pioneer IBM Turns 100 Years

IBM recently turns 100 years old, Thursday. It has now market capitalization of $197 billion. IBM ruled computing form the 1960s into the early 1980s. IBM is considered the world’s 14th most valuable technology company, behind Apple but close to software tycoon Microsoft.
Misa also said, “Microsoft and Intel were the big winners in the personal market, which IBM defined but did not long dominate.”
Obama Government Establishing an Underground Internet

US government is leading a global campaign, which involves the building of a proto-type “Internet in a suitcase.” Obama administration funded the project with a $2 million State Department allotment, the suitcase could be transported without being uncover or seen across a border and easily set up which allow wireless communication over a wide coverage with a link to the global Internet.
State Department Spokesperson Harry Edwards said, “The State Department is doing innovative, cutting-edge work in the area of Internet freedom, including funding the development of ‘Internet in a suitcase. Our approach is ‘Techies without Borders’. It is about empowering individuals to exercise their universal human rights to freedom of speech, assembly and association, online as well as in the physical world.”
“Microsoft Corp. Must Pay a $290 Million,” says Supreme Court

The Supreme Court ruled Thursday, giving the company, i4i, its much-awaited justice. The US Supreme Court has denied an appeal by Microsoft for infringing a small Canadian company, i4i, patent. I41 Company filed a suit against Microsoft in 2007, claiming it owned the technology behind a text manipulation tool used in famous Microsoft’s Word application.
The alleged stolen technology of i4i gave Word 2003 and Word 2007 users a better way of using a document’s content. Microsoft wilfully violate the patent, this is according to the Lower courts ruling. They ordered Microsoft-the world’s leading software maker, to pay i4i Company the sum of $290 million and stop selling versions of Word containing the infringing innovation.
IPv6 and iPV4 Test Flight

Internet Society is organizing World iPv6 Day. The pool of Internet addresses used for most traffic today is about to weakened, but implementing iPv6. iPv6 is new Internet protocol possessing 4 billion times as many addresses.
Big names on the industry of Web business, which includes Facebook, Google and Akamai, are testing iPv6 preparedness in the future.
Wii U Game Console: High Definition Gaming

Nintendo announced that it will finally release new Wii game console that will let gamers enjoy high-definition gaming. The console will come with a controller that allows the players view its own screen without having to view them on the TV screen. This feature will also let the gamers play games while the TV is tuned to another channel
Iwata also said, “Wii U will let everyone see games in a different way and it also represents a major step toward reaching our goal. If 3D TV becomes very popular and a sufficient amount of 3D TVs (are sold), then it’s going to be possible for Nintendo to make 3D games for the Wii U. It’s not primary concern right now, as far as the launch period is concerned.”

“Google is a Political Tool,” says Chinese Media

Chinese government denies having knowledge of the recent hacking issue that involves high-ranking US military personnel. According to them, while IP addresses were traced to Jinan, this does not necessarily constitute that the hackers physically sat at these locations. They said more investigations are needed to establish who really is behind the recent cyber attack.
These recent incidents raised speculations in the US government. They are considering these attacks as an act of war and prepared to use military force.
Skype Answers Back

Just recently, a researcher named Efim Bushmanov has just publicly announced that he has reverse engineered the Skype protocol. He has already released a test version and source code. Nevertheless, this first version cannot get into the current Skype network.
Bushmanov is trying to make Skype open source. It is known that numbers of researchers attempt to reverse engineer its protocols. However, Bushmanov is not yet completely finish with his project.
Smart Bell: Great Burglar-deterrent

“At first, I designed the idea because my mum was fed up going to the Post Office to collect deliveries made when we wee not at home. When I started to develop the Smart Bell, I realized it could also be a great burglar-deterrent,” says Laurence Rook, 13-year-old Schoolboy, Designer and inventor of Smart Bell.
The invention allows communication between the unexpected guest, outside the house and the homeowners. It will create an impression that there is someone inside the house through using an intercom system. It will also allow giving additional information on delivery instructions.
Laurence has reached 20,000 units sold on this innovation and he is now settling a deal for further 25,000 units, but refuses to disclose any information on the name of the company.
